  The following are just a few of the non-profits that work with businesses and investors to combat climate change.  
       

 

Ceres - A national network of investment funds, environmental organizations and other public interest groups working to advance environmental stewardship on the part of businesses.

Climate Group - Dedicated to advancing business and government leadership on climate change. They work to accelerate international action on global warming by focusing on solutions and positive collaborations.

GreenBiz - Demonstrates how to align environmental responsibility with business success. It provides free news and resources to large and small businesses through a combination of Web sites, workshops, daily news feeds, electronic newsletters, and briefing papers.

Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility - An association of 275 faith-based institutional investors. ICCR and its members press companies to be socially and environmentally responsible, focusing on issues such as climate change, environmental justice and access to health care.

Pew Center for Global Climate Change - Heads the Business Environmental Leadership Council, the largest U.S.-based association of corporations focused on addressing the challenges of climate change. You can read company profiles and learn about reduction targets and corporate greenhouse gas strategies.
